I am delighted to welcome you and your dogs to Debbie’s Dog Care.

I am Urmston based and hold a 5 star licence from Trafford Borough Council for home boarding & day care. I am also a member of the Professional Pet Services Association – a division of the Pet Industry Federation. Thus ensuring the best practice in animal welfare by observing the five welfare needs of all your dogs: wellness, sociability, behaviour, diet and accommodation.

I come from a farming family in north Yorkshire and was brought up in the company of animals mainly horses, pigs and dogs. I was lucky enough to have been mentored by a leading dog trainer, judge and breeder whose own dogs are life qualified for Crufts. I am passionate about animal rights and I am an active campaigner for animal welfare throughout the world. I have the pleasure of spending my days in the company of many wonderful dogs and my clients include vets, veterinary group practice managers, other licensed dog carers as well as numerous local families.

Myself and my own two dogs, Jasper and Maude look forward to getting to know your pet and can ensure the care and protection of your dog whilst in our company.

I am fully trained in Canine Emergency CPR and First Aid and I have enjoyed many years of experience working with dogs.

My human to dog ratio is 1:3 indoors and 1:2 on outdoor walks. The low ratio allows dogs to have the best care experience with ample one to one attention and play time.

All dogs in my care have full immunisation and temperament checks prior to being accepted for day care or home boarding.

Dogs undergo assessment via a free 1:1 home visit prior to any group walks or socialisation.

Dogs attend for a half day short introductory session with a gradual admission policy prior to full day attendance or home boarding
